We are not limited to just weddings & conferences but enjoy hosting all sorts of events here at the house. Public, private, christenings, fairs, wakes, naming ceremonies, children’s parties, birthday parties, gala dinners, charity dinners, filming, photo shoots are some of the happenings over recent years.
Special Birthdays, Gala dinners & Balls
Kings Weston House has so much to offer for a special occasion. It’s stunning rooms, glorious interiors, and our attention to detail and full planning support combines to creating a wonderful lifetime event. From the moment you step in to the majestic Portrait gallery & are handed a glass of fizz, sipping a selection of cocktails in the Gentleman’s bar to dancing the night away in the Oak room, why not celebrate your birthday in glorious style!
We can offer formal dining or buffet options from our in house catering team & can host parties in the main house from 60 to 350 guests.
House hire is from 6pm until Midnight on Fridays and Saturdays at £1250 + VAT, Sunday – Thursdays £750 + VAT but please note that if wishing a disco mid-week this must be set up in the Vaulted bistro on the lower ground floor. Charity & social club luncheons & dinners
Welcome guests with drinks on arrival in the Portrait Gallery, then move through to one of our two dining rooms for a scrumptious one, two or three course lunch or dinner freshly prepared by our wonderful in house catering team.
The Vanbrugh is our larger dining room with beautiful views reaching to Wales and a light airy space. The room holds between 60 – 120 guests and can be hired together with the Portrait or as part of exclusive use of the house.
The Oak room is a smaller room perfect for more intimate dining from 10 – 50 guests. It’s beautiful English heritage wallpaper; wooden shutters and large golden chandelier make a wonderful space to entertain. The Oak room connects on to the breakfast & bar so why not stay for the evening and dance the night away.
Immersive events, dance, theatre, public fairs & ticketed events
We have had a host of very wonderful events at the house from Outdoor cinemas, Weddings fairs, Beauty events, craft & vintage fairs, Opera, Orchestras, Mayfest, Love food festival to name a few. In fact you dream it we’ve host it.

Children’s parties, christenings & naming ceremonies
The house is just so enchanting for children. We have put together a special ‘Kids Party’ package where you can dry hire certain rooms from Sundays through to Thursdays. Please CLICK HERE to download.
We also welcome Christenings and naming ceremonies. Why not welcome guests in the Portrait for drinks and photos then move to the Oak room for a wonderful roast?
